This project is based in North Woolwich pier. The objective of this project is to create a proposal for the area that will be integrated easily into the site. This consisted of a series of spaces for artists to living and work, with additional running actives upon entering the building.
These programmes consisted of:
GROUND:
youth community centre (Indoor gallery spaces)
Outdoor Amenity (Play-area)
UPPER FLOOR:
Artist live & Work spaces
The main objective for this proposal in relation to the area of North Woolwich is to create an space for young people within the area to come and socialise after school. This will enable them to learn about fine art and various other skills that will benefit them. On the other hand for the artist, this is will be a space where they can as-well as live and focus on there craft/present there work in the youth community centre gallery area. Its also a chance for them to educate the youth aswell.as make use of the other facilities in the centre.
